Integration of the algo into a task to be run with a FairRun is achieved in MR 578.

Experiences in the development, referring to previous discussions on data interfaces and their ROOT bindings:
  • The ClassDef and ClassImp macros of CbmDigiEvent and CbmDigiTimeslice are not needed and are thus left out.
  • CbmDigiEvent needs not be in DataLinkDef.h, but std::vector<CbmDigiEvent> is required there - since it is in the output tree.
  • CbmDigiTimeslice needs not be in DataLinkDef.h - it is used only transiently.

Data output (CbmDigiEvent) is visible and browsable in TBrowser.
